Samuel Li is an Emmy Award-winning writer and director based in Los Angeles. His work spans scripted television, commercials, music, and branded entertainment.

Sam wrote and directed episodes of The Warehouse Phase, a scripted comedy series on Peacock produced through NBCUniversal's Creator Accelerator Program. He served as a writer on Episodes 1–5 and writer/director on Episodes 3 and 4.

For over a decade, Sam has worked professionally across writing, directing, and creative production. Before moving deeper into scripted filmmaking, Sam built a career as a creative director for Microsoft at Reach Agency and an award-winning copywriter at Raindrop, creating work for Microsoft, Disney, Adobe, Toyota, and others. His writing has earned a Regional Emmy Award from NATAS Pacific Southwest and reached hundreds of millions of viewers including the viral original Dr. Squatch video with over 500 million views.

Sam writes thrillers centered on complicated mother-child relationships and identity through unpredictable high-stakes genre storytelling. He’s written multiple original feature screenplays and is developing them.

He currently works independently as a writer and director, developing original stories for film and television while collaborating on commercial and creative projects.
